Distributing 2,000 office chairs a week? Installing flexible workplaces or entire office departments? We do this every day for a large European office furnisher. A logistics puzzle for our planners, a challenge for our drivers and our assembly team.

The work process of our customer is leading

Our client works with several suppliers worldwide, each of whom has optimized their work process in their own way. A number of them opt for a compact loading volume and deliver the office furniture in parts, after which we take care of the assembly in-house. At other suppliers, Jan Krediet’s drivers collect already assembled office furniture. In both cases, we adapt our logistics seamlessly. Throughput times are mini- mized thanks to the use of our swap bodies. A flexible, unique concept in the Dutch furniture logistics sector that shortens loading and un- loading times.

B2C distribution for the delivery of work-from-home furniture

Our specialists assemble the office chairs for home workplaces professionally and under controlled conditions in our warehouses. Route planning is optimized, naturally taking into account possible challenges that we may encounter along the way. Is the final destination in the Centre of Amsterdam or in the outskirts? Is there parking in front of the door? Depending on the destination, we use large or small transport carriers. Naturally, we send a personal message about the delivery to each recipient with a time window and a track and trace. Our customer can fully follow all deliveries via MyJanKrediet, our customer portal. Real-time and up to the last kilometer.

Project logistics for the installation of high volumes of workplaces

For higher volumes, we use our project logistics solutions, and our project teams also take care of assembly and installation on site. Specific customer wishes are leading here. Our project managers prepare the furnishing of entire office buildings, departments or flexible workplaces in detail. Nothing is left to chance, so unexpected surprises on location are avoided. Subsequently, nothing stands in the way of our team to set up the entire project location quickly and efficiently as agreed and to deliver it flawlessly.
