LGT expands to Italy

Mach3000 Alliance proudly announces a new chapter for its partner, LGT Logistics. As of October 1st, LGT Italy became a reality. This follows the acquisition of the furniture division of Schenker Italy, located in Guanzate, near Como. This strategic move strengthens LGT’s role in the European furniture logistics market and marks a key milestone in its expansion.

A new hub in Italy

This acquisition provides LGT Italy with a well-established operational base in Guanzate. Offering a prime location close to the Swiss border and well-connected to key transport routes. This new entity not only expands LGT’s geographical footprint. Also enhances the company’s ability to deliver specialized furniture logistics solutions to both retail and end customers across Italy and Europe.

Strengthening the Mach3000 Alliance

The addition of LGT Italy marks a major achievement for the Mach3000 Alliance, a network of leading European logistics companies specializing in furniture transportation. This collaboration clearly demonstrates how shared expertise and resources consistently lead to growth and operational success. Furthermore, the new Italian hub enhances LGT’s capabilities and strengthens the alliance’s presence in southern Europe, a key region for furniture logistics.

The Italian market plays a crucial role in both furniture production and consumption. With its advanced logistical infrastructure, LGT Italy is now strategically positioned to serve this growing sector. As a result, it will effectively meet the increasing demands of the Italian furniture industry.

LGT’s commitment to sustainability and quality

LGT Logistics has built a strong reputation for its commitment to sustainability. This new chapter in Italy will be no exception. Notably, the Guanzate terminal will continue to operate under the environmentally conscious practices that have defined LGT’s operations across northern Europe. From optimizing transport routes to reducing emissions, LGT Italy remains focused on delivering green logistics solutions to its customers.

Looking ahead: growth and opportunity

LGT Logistics is now ready for significant growth in the coming years. In fact, the Italian team will actively support the company’s mission to provide reliable, timely, and specialized furniture logistics services, ensuring continued success.

Now that Italy is firmly on the map, Mach3000 is prepared to offer high-quality logistics solutions to meet the growing demands of the European furniture market. This further solidifies its reputation as a trusted alliance in specialized logistics, making Mach3000 a key player in the industry.
