MACH-3000 partner Jan Krediet Logistics deliver relief supplies to refugees in Greece

In early October, a truck of Jan Krediet arrived on the Greek island of Lesbos to deliver over 1,100 boxes with relief supplies. Goods that are used to provide immediate help to the large numbers of refugees arriving daily on this island.

The relief transport was carried out in collaboration with the Amsterdam initiative AMS Helpt. By this transport, thousands of people are assured of dry clothing, some food, warm blankets and first medical aid.

During the trip, Martijn Krediet (co-owner of Jan Krediet and driver of the truck) and fellow traveller/photographer Martijn Gijsbertsen kept a photo log. This log makes followers aware of the need the refugees are in, but also of the relief that the donated goods have brought.

Jan Krediet is glad to have been able to contribute to this relief transport. This initiative of “ordinary inhabitants of Amsterdam” proves that anybody can help: many small boxes fill up a truck!
